Only she's not a crane at all, but an osprey! Or a fish eagle. Or whatever you want to call her. But Arin Calamity's boss sometimes calls her "Calamity Crane" (like Calamty Jane? haha, he's so witty!) because she can be a bit... clumsy.
This paranoid college student works the night shift at a dingy little convenience store. Because she's had encounters with theives, she now carries both a can of mace AND a tazer! And is prone to use them on anyone who surprises her. Or touches her. Or... looks at her wrong. This bird's got a hair trigger. And a strange fashion choice! She's studying in college to be an artist. Or a singer. Or an actress. Or an astronaut. Or a nurse. Or... okay, she has no idea. -- I GOT LAZY ON THE WINGS HEHEHE. I also went texturehappy on the clothes because I wanted them to look.. bohemianish. Like those crazy art school stereotypes. This is one of my favorite character designs. I have been meaning to make an osprey character for over a year now. |

THe things I love about this are the textures in her character, the pose to show her character and the storyline you gave to show what she's like. Very nicely done. It's interesting I don't see alot of eagle type characters from most artists, it's good to see something different you know.
